WHEN IS THE HOTEL CLOSED?

Les Fermes de Marie is open almost all year round, offering unique experiences in every season. The hotel closes for a few weeks in spring, generally from April to early June, to prepare for the summer season. In summer, the hotel reopens for privatizations (weddings, corporate events) before welcoming the general public at the start of the July school vacations. In autumn, the hotel is open every weekend and during the week for corporate events and seminars.

Opened in December 1989, Les Fermes de Marie is one of France's pioneering mountain hotels. The establishment was the first to adopt a chalet style built from real alpine farms dismantled and reassembled in the Alps. WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO PROVIDE TO MAKE MY RESERVATION?

DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT OR GIVE MY CARD AS A GUARANTEE?

Depending on the rate you choose when booking, you will be required to pay either 50% or 100% of the total cost of your stay before arrival. Deposits can be paid by credit card (3D secure payment), cheque or bank transfer, whichever you prefer.

WHAT ARE THE CANCELLATION CONDITIONS?

If you need to cancel your booking less than 30 days before arrival, we will retain your deposit in full. In the event of cancellation on the day of arrival or no-show, the full amount of the stay will be charged if you have only paid a 50% deposit.

WHAT ABOUT THE TOURIST TAX?

A tourist tax of €2.5 per day per person over 18 is charged for all stays at the Les Fermes de Marie hotel, in accordance with Megeve town council regulations.
