In its 30 years of existence, Les Fermes de Marie has become an institution. Anything but sleek, its luxury is synonymous with unforgettable moments. Like each of the Maisons et Hôtels Sibuet, in Megève, Ménerbes, Saint-Tropez or Saint-Barth, the place has its own history. Conceived and built by Jocelyne and Jean-Louis Sibuet, they have seen their own children grow up. Marie and Nicolas, who today continue the family tradition of dreamy hospitality, embracing the new codes of mountain living with that extra touch of soul so often copied, rarely equalled. Many people, young and old, have fallen under the spell of this hamlet, born from the accumulation of weathered mazots; alpine granaries or forgotten Savoyard farmhouses; each piece of wood, dismantled, numbered and reassembled, in a titanic Lego game. Since then, from season to solstice, Les Fermes has continued to reinvent itself. Pure Altitude, a pioneer in the use of mountain plants, has become a brand in its own right, extending far beyond the hotel's Spa. Not to mention the takeover of Le Vieux Megève, another village institution, offering an alternative to half-board.
