"It's a resort institution and a wonderful family hotel adventure. In the 1980s, Jocelyne and Jean-Louis Sibuet bought up old barns and sheds in the region, salvaging the wood and building Les Fermes de Marie on a two-hectare site. Opened in 1989, the five-star establishment has retained its family home feel. All different, 70 rooms with rustic charm, cosy and chic, enhanced by a Pure Altitude Spa (the group's brand) with Japanese baths, indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi. In addition to the traditional restaurant, the hotel has just inaugurated the Carnotzet, dedicated to cheeses and reserved for hotel guests. Choice of terrine, fondue or raclette, and a convivial dessert."
